My name is Mia Gerlach the handsome man pictured next to me is my husband, Matt — we went to the chapel in 2023 and live in the heart of Dallas, TX with our cats, George and Grumpy.

I love photos. They bookmark time and offer remembrance to the things your brain would otherwise let slip.

It’s cool to think that my job aids couples in taking inventory of their lived blessings and giving them a keepsake in the form of a photo gallery to cherish for years on. The things time often steal: the texture of your wedding dress, the way the light hit your soon-to-be spouse at the altar, the laugh lines on the faces of people who’ve shaped you… sealed forever, never falling victim to fleeting time or fading memory.

Over the years, I’ve documented some of the most special and deeply personal moments for my clients. Being invited to celebrate with you and your chosen few is easily the sweetest part of my job and I’ll forever understand the honor it is to be present on your most sacred days.
